my deepa-raya getaway.. i luv go karting n spaaaa…
hey peeps.. juz got back from batam for my deepa-raya getaway and i’m feeling all sore and tired!!..LOL muz b weird to hear that since going for holidays makes u all refreshed and all but still.. i had fun and enjoyed it.
i will prob cut out all the details and dive in straight into the skinny.. batam is not a place i’m totally alien with. my company always despatch us there for work @ our sister company. but i wuz not there for work this time but rather for some fun w my 2 other church frens darryl and scott..
the main highlights for the trip muz b prob the spa, seafood and go karting!.. never had a chance to go for a proper spa and the experience wuz totally relaxing!.. scrubs and massages and the hydrobath.. came out of the spa totally refreshed.. and nooo.. nothing else other than the spa i had in there.. for all the weirdo fellas who think we did anything else.. =) much cheaper than if u had it in sg also..
seafood.. i missed out on a good crab fiesta w am n his frens last week and intended to make it up big time!.. had pepper crab, fish, chicken, sotong, prawns and fried rice.. for abt 60k rupiah.. which totals to abt less than 20+ dollars for 3 pax?
i muz give special mention to the go karting.. i totally enjoyed it even though it left me w my sore back and sides and my grazed hand.. however, it could haf been better if we could choose the kart to be in. rather than adapting to the kart which we had 3 different karts for 3 different races.
smashed thru 2 barricades as the releasing the accelarator made my kart go faster and my brakes had to be depressed real hard to work.. -____- ‘ ‘ ‘ tt wuz for the 2nd race.. but still, playing arcade too much made it really gd/bad in a way for me.. i shall not eleborate on that but the feel of zipping thru the track chasin and catching up w ppl really makes the pain all worth while.. a muz go if i haf another opportunity.
together in all spent abt 300+ bucks for everything in this trip, n the result? enjoyment all e way. prob will edit to post up some pics from the trip as i gotta get the pics from darryl.. so aniwae, now at home.. w 1 more day to rest n work the rest of the week.. darn..
